Two Hands

We are now witnessing a thematic and discursive
change in Javier Orozco’s work! He has become a progressive
poet, a musician of light, an artist who executes, with two hands,
a very powerful visual concert of closed discourses, symbolic
and, at the same time, universal. Because it is undeniable that
with these images we are witnessing the encounter between
technology and organics, faith collapsed into nihilism and
eroticism, the losses in duels poorly resolved and the hope of a
brighter future.
This “Two Hands” visual concert allows us to foresee the
future, the meeting of opposites comes together in the possibility
of forgiveness, to absorb the pain, to confront our demons and
access them from the fruitful and creative earthly paradise. Javier
Orozco’s work recreates the world of fierce belongings, which
we shamelessly must accept to avail ourselves of a tomorrow of

desire, hope and the (re) creation. Rebeca Monroy
